Heroes — David Bowie

Two angular figures embrace beneath an immense concrete wall, watched by a distant tower and crossed by thin red lines. Their shadows rise above them and transform into blue crescent forms, turning one private act of closeness into something monumental.

This SongScape interpretation of Heroes captures love as defiance: fragile people choosing one another inside a landscape built to divide and control. Brutalist geometry, distressed paper texture and a restrained Berlin-era palette give the piece the severity of political poster art, while the small Aladdin Sane flash quietly returns the scene to Bowie. A striking tribute to courage, connection and the possibility of one extraordinary moment.
