Birds of a Feather — Billie Eilish

Two pairs of shoes rest beside a shared blanket as overlapping ripples spread across a still mountain lake. Above them, two birds sit together on the same branch. This SongScape interpretation of Birds of a Feather captures companionship through absence: the people are never shown, but every detail suggests that they have chosen to remain in the same place, together.

The intersecting circles become a quiet symbol of two lives affecting one another, while the mist, rain-darkened timber and green-black palette preserve Billie Eilish's intimate, slightly melancholic atmosphere. A thoughtful piece about devotion, friendship and lasting connection.
